Maribel lived in Virginia and was a child of her parents and siblings, though information about them is scarce. At a young age she was determined to make a profession within the legal field in the hopes of becoming a lawyer. After high school graduation in the year 1819, she attended the University of Virginia, where she graduated with a concentration in German as well as foreign Policy. Thomas Jefferson, an author of the Declaration of Independence, founded the university in 1819. Today, it offers more than 100 courses centered around Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This university is spread over 1600 acres of land for its main campus, plus many more acres for the Research Park as well as the Farm. Maribel completed her studies in New York Law School after having completed her undergraduate degree. Her current goal is to pursue the Juris Doctor. Maribel Aber NYLS has an outstanding faculty that includes those who have experience with the legal and business world.
