Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress popular for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. She also received acclaim for her groundbreaking television debut of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According sources, she's working on a project with Vlas & Charley Parlapanides who composed Immortals in an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life.
